Lucas Village and Carver Community Centers
When Darren heard that the Lucas Village and Carver community centers in Frederick were having trouble with their WiFi, making it difficult for the kids to participate in remote learning, he decided to do something about it. Pulling the team at Clark Computer Services together, we discussed options, did a site visit to determine need, and put together a plan of action.
Donating time and materials, we purchased enough Ubiquiti WiFi hubs to cover the community centers and sent a technician out to install them. With high-speed access now available, the kids are back in the virtual classroom.
